New to this

Hello,

I am trying my best to teach myself how to properly use crystals. I have come to find it is easier said than done. Anybody have any pointers? I have a good collection of them. I also purchased a pendulum. I've cleansed them, everything. Why don't I feel like I'm doing it right. Like something is off. I might be missing something. How did you go about learning this? Thanks so much!

I Eve,
I'm in the same boat as you are. I just started getting into crystals too! From what I have gathered, try different things into you find what is right for you. Try to keep a notepad with you when you try to connect with your crystals and record your experiences. Just keep doing what you are doing, there is no right or wrong way. You will eventually find a comfort zone with your crystals. Hope that helped some to you!

Howdy all

for me it was trial and error. there are folks who can feel energy and those who can not ( i am one who can not ) or very slightly anyway there are some good refrance books out there Crystal bible by Judy hall and Love is in the earth by melody and difrent posts here from soem experanced worker in this field. it is usealy a good idea to clear or clean your new stone or crystal when you get it there are difrent methods to do this the basic and most widely used is holding the stone under the sink and with intention or thinking about it washing all the negitive energy away you can charge them in two ways place in the sun or hold it in your hand and run energy into them i can show you this method fairly quickly

the pedulum is a extention of subtle energy fields around you and how you may find them you may use a pendy to find the energy field in a stone or crystal i can show you this as well :)

ask the stone in your mind or aloud how you can work together with it trust your intuitive feelings and this will sharpen them excersize yourself by doing this

I am one who can see and feel the energy around me, but I am Reiki and Seichim trained and attuned so that may be a big part of it. For me it is a reaching out with not my hands, ears or eyes but my mind and heart. It is an almost euphoric feeling specially when it comes to my Crystal Skull - for with my heart I hear them speaking.
