I have collected and used crystals, minerals and gems from childhood. They communicate with me and when the right person enters and one of my collection is intended for them, I gift it.

I not only understand the rules, I too agree with them. And I look forward to maybe learning other uses for them.

I joined this group because I have always appreciated and respected crystals and gemstones with the powers they possess. I love the idea of learning about each and every crystal, gemstone, and more. I truly believe in the their powers and what they represent.
Being a bit slow with some of the lessons; due to literally indulging myself into the information I find making sure I understand each and every word stated in multiple books I use; I will say this is such an informative and great learning group.
I have shared this group with a few of my friends that I know are really into different stones, crystals and alike. Many of them are store owners and feel as though they don't have the time to participate; but I've stated to them, everyone here has an outside life and you can do the lessons and learn so much on 'your own time ~ within your own pace' so now I believe many will be following.
I'm looking forward to meeting with some of them next weekend (New Year's) and seeing if they check the group out or not; and most importantly actually being able to share my knowledge that I have researched myself and learned from the group with them. My girlfriend, Kimmie, who ownes a hair salon who also sells different stones and crystals is still within a learning stage herself and I love assisting her in any way I can with all that I have learned ~ nowto get her into the group I'd be really happy! I believe with the many people I know, this group is great for the beginner's that have that interest in gemstones and crystals but are afraid to ask in public. Here they can learn and research so much and get to know the real facts and inside knowledge of these beautiful creatures of nature.

Totally agree with the rules! I will try to pop on and write comments once in a while, and will have a question now and then I am sure! I am really glad I decided to look at the other groups than the ones I belong to already - this is the part I liked best about the group I used to be in before it got closed down for some technical reason, LOL! Information and discussion about stones and properties!

So - I joined this group because I have great love and respect for all rocks and gemstones and crystals - everything from the stones in the backyard, to the sand on the beach (I consider sand little stones *smile* ), to crystals and clusters of brilliant color, to fossils, to - oh you get the point! I love them all! I get just as excited over a really cool rock I found in the horse pasture to put in my garden (which has more rocks than flowers, LOL), as I do over a really great new sphere of something unusual and rare and expensive.

I started collecting stones and fossils and shells ages ago, but have really focussed in on collecting spheres in the past three years or so. And gotten a lot more serious about wanting to know what properties they have attributed to them, and actually remember that without having to go look it up...

I have been doing some divination with crystal spheres and am working to write a guide book for others to use for doing the same, if I can ever get it done. I need to take about 250 photographs of stones and spheres... which is slowing me down a bit. I have a lot of interesting pieces in that collection, and then there are the others (tumbles, crystals, clusters, carvings, things too fragile to make into a sphere but I just had to have some of it... *roll eyes*) that are strewn all over the house to the point that hubby thinks I am losing it *grin* - not to mention I am sort of collecting sand from as many beaches as I can - just a tiny bit of each but it is becoming a nice collection with all my internet friends helping me out!

I have also worked with and done divination with pendulums, which I really like. And I don't think I have ever found a pendulum that doesn't react for me - though some more than others. I know I have interacted with hundreds of pendulums over the years, because I sell them once a year and like to have a nice variety to offer - since you never know who will need what or which - and I play with all of them before I will offer them for sale! *really big grin* I am currently using an especially sweet silver hairline rutilated quartz pendulum, that I found wanted me totally by accident when I was sorting through some. I also like using the rose quartz one I have, and I have used others, just that right now this one likes me so I am using it. *wink*
