i have used this minneral friend for sevral things mostly i use it with other stones to amplify there freqancies or energy i carry one in my pocket my program is a simple one i use the words amplify and love hte one i carry are single points or with a point on one end i use double points or terminated points in my circles of power inbetween other stones i cant sey i used them in gridd work ot any extent i have made a gem elixor or water essance to energise the water i have found this to be slightly energiezed by it self but more energised water with other stones

i own probly 10-12 of thses smaller crystals and they can be picked up cheaply on ebay or rockshops in your area

there are some clear quartz of notacble power from certian areas around the world i am not sure why this is it could be arkansas is a good choice of locality and so is tibeten quartz in the clear quartz. if you doubt this try seeing if your quartz feels diffrant if you have anything of this minneral from anothe rlocality.

I've always been attracted to clear quartz so I have several. Sometimes I just like to look at or through them. I've done 2 specific things with them, besides carry them with me.

One, I used a small clear quartz crystal cluster on top a a prayer box dedicated to my mother after she passed across the veil to send her my prayers and well-wishes of bliss and love. I didn't expect to communicate with her but she did come through very clearly about a week later. I was very surprised at how clearly she was able to make herself understood.

The second thing I did is from Doreen Virtue's How to Hear Your Angel book. An exercise using a clear quartz point to open the 3rd eye. It worked somewhat but also gave me a bad headache for days. I think I may have to repeat with a better quality crystal. If I do, I'll give an update. I did have some wonderful visions afterward as I was falling asleep that night but nothing since. I tend to hear more than see in general.

The Crystal I ever purchased was my Quartz Point it is about the size of my thumb just a little wider. I was new to Crystals as of Aug of this year. at the time that one spoke to me. so I bought that one. I have cleared it with different methods, re programed it. taken it everywhere I go even under my pillow at night. But I have not been able to connect with it despite my numerous efforts. I love it and could never part with it. but I feel I am missing something I was told it should feel light & I will feel a buzz or vibrations or something but It just feels like a heavy stone :( what am I doing wrong. how can I get connected to my crystal and it to me? I have tried clearing it under running water, I even bought a sage wand and smudged it. I have 4 small points also. three of them are single points & one has 3 two points with a very small 3rd point. I also have a clear tumbled quartz that I usually put with other crystals to boost their energy, and an other larger one that has one main point and 3 others. that one and the 4 small ones were sent to me as a gift from a friend. If anyone can shed any light on my Crystal/s please feel free to share. I will post photos of them on here so you can see them. I have many quartz pieces in my home/life.
I have two set up facing opposite directions on a light box. That set is in the "health center" of our home to help keep our health better as well as all the other properties of quartz.

I do like and work with it often. Mostly due to the many things that quartz is good for. The clear quartz holds the entire spectrum of colors within it. So if you do color healing techniques, add a clear quartz as it holds all colors within.

I do like to work with quartz such as barnacle, time line, etc. I have found that no matter if the quartz is similar in all aspects, its vibration will be sligthly different. So, in this, it seems that some pieces of the same type of crystal
can work better for specific situations/people/etc.

I use both rough and tumbled pieces, wands, and points.

Depending upon what is going on within me, I use double terminated or point up or down, or even a pair of single terminated quartz points or more at the same time.

I have found that working with white quartz first tends to help those just who get a headache with the clear quartz. It seems to be a softer energy and easier for many to integrate. This is especially true for some who are working with their eye chakras. Once they are accustomed to the white quartz energy it is easier to then try the clear quartz.
I have also found that sometimes it is the piece of quartz that causes the headache and by using another piece instead the headache doesn't always accompany the use of the crystal.

I love this stone as an elixir as it holds all colors within it. I recommend trying a clear quartz crystal elixir for like a month and see what changes you see with its wonderful energies.

It is a great "general purpose" crystal. And I know many people have stated that in their books....but what people forget, just because it is listed as "general purpose" does not mean that it is any less of a crystal. I have come upon people who feel that it is too "common" and "too general" and they want a "better" crystal for whatever they need.
I guess sometimes we forget to see that it is the simple things that will amaze us if we only allow ourselves to be open to new experiences with the old, simplisitic crystal/etc. This is why, after 20+ years, I have taken it upon myself to work with some of my familiar "common" crystals again for a month at a time with an elixir and at least one piece of the crystal on my person at all times, and you know...I have learned more. I have saw new perspectives and understood things with a deeper meaning.
So when a word such as "general purpose" is used it means it is good for any use you can think of! If I say "general healing" or "healing" I mean that it is good for all forms of healing. Maybe it is the term "general" that is the problem/issue, as it can also mean "common" and it is hard for many people to see the greatness in something like a "common" crystal.

I have used a clear, twin quartz point as a pendulum with good success. I have also used a faceted carnelian for the same purpose.

I have used the clear quartz to help amplify other stones, but I have also used other stones for this purpose too.

I use these points when sending healing energies/Reiki.

I have a tumbled piece of clear quartz that looks like glass, that is my favorite to work with. Mostly I like it because it is not as harsh an energy as some of the points that I have.

I guess this will be it for now as I need to get offline and do some stuff here.
