Calcite is a powerful amplifier and cleanser of energy.
Simply having Calcite in the room cleans negative energies from the
environment and heightens your energy. Within the body, it removes
stagnant energy. The spectrum of colors cleans the physical and subtle
bodies. Calcite is an active crystal, speeding up development and
growth. This is a spiritual stone linked to the higher consciousness
that facilitates the opening of higher awareness and psychic abilities,
channeling, and out-of-body experiences. It accelerates spiritual
development and allows the soul to remember experiences when
it returns to the body.
Psychologically, Calcite connects the emotions with the intellect,
creating emotional intelligence. Calcite has a positive effect, especially
where someone has lost hope or motivation. It combats laziness, aiding
in becoming more energetic on all levels.
Mentally, Calcite calms the mind, teaches discernment and analysis,
stimulates insights, and boosts memory. It facilitates knowing which
information is important, and then retaining it. Calcite confers the
ability to change ideas into action. It is a useful stone for study.
Calcite alleviates emotional stress and replaces it with serenity.
It is a stabilizing stone, enhancing trust in oneself and strengthening
the ability to overcome setbacks. On a subtle level, a layout of the
appropriate colors of Calcite cleanses, balances, and energizes all
the chakras*.
HEALING Calcite cleanses the organs of elimination. It encourages
calcium uptake in bones but dissolves calcifications, strengthening the
skeleton and joints. It alleviates intestinal and skin conditions. Calcite
stimulates blood clotting and tissue healing. It fortifies the immune
system and can encourage growth in small children. Calcite works
quickly as an elixir and can be applied to the skin, ulcers, warts, suppurating wounds. At a subtle level, Calcite cleans and reenergizes
the chakras*.

The various crystallized forms of calcite include masses, grains, stalactites,
scalenohedrons [twelve-faced crystals, each face exhibiting three unequal sides], and
rhombohedrons [six-faced crystals, each face the shape of a rhombus]. It is, however,
characterized by the rhombohedron crystallization. Calcite is colourless or white and
can become green, pink, peach, golden, orange, yellow, red, blue, grey, or black when
other compounds blend with it during formation.
This mineral releases electrical impulses when placed under pressure, and is an
energy amplifier. It is said to help the mind and body to remember - the mind, to
remember information brought to bear during astral travel and channeling
experiences; the body, to remember the state of perfection during dis-ease in order
to return to the natural state of flawless-ness.
It is useful in multi-directional energy distribution; it appears that the energy, which
is directed inward toward the central forces of the mineral, separates and returns at
double the intensity. It brings forth a polarizing prismatic energy, which engenders
a spectrum of energy to clear and to activate all of the chakras.
Calcite is a world teacher for all of humanity, facilitating macrocosmic awareness and
appreciation of the creative forces of nature. It is an excellent stone when studying
the arts and sciences.
Placement of the various colours of calcite upon the body has induced amplification
of ones energy field. Placing calcite, of the appropriate chakra colour, upon the
chakra, has not only cleared and activated that chakra, but has provided a "sweeping"
action which cleared the remaining centers. The clear calcite and golden calcite are
excellent energy sources for use at the crown chakra; the clear calcite has also been
used at all chakras to provide for the amplification of the energy available.
Note that there are Calcite Enhydros which also combine the qualities of the Enhydro
with the qualities of Calcite.
Calcite can be used to ameliorate dis-ease associated with the improper functioning
of the kidneys, pancreas, and spleen. It can be used to promote the de-calcification
of bone growths; in addition, it is a balancing agent for the assimilation of calcium
within the body.

regression and regaining memories so

thanks for the info on black calcite! I have at least one sphere of every color of calcite that I can get my hands on, including mexican calcite (usually called green onyx), but don't have a fully grey or black one. I do have a mangano calcite sphere that has a pretty ring of black/grey on one end, and some rainbow calcite that incorporates blackish browns.
I think that this will be a fun series!

Calcite is one of my favorite stones, though though the only black calcite is a few small bits in my mostly white calcie "Chinese Dragon" cluster shown in the photo above , I have most of the rainbow in calcite, red, orange ,yellow, green , blue I only need purple for the rainbow. I have lots & lots of pink, white, green and clear calcite too.
Calcite comes in many colors works for Memory, spirituality, bone and muscle problems, amplifies and clears the energy field, green calcite helps heal and prevent infections.amplifies energy, chakra clearing and balancing, creativity, awareness of nature, a wealth stone, healing, pain relief, mental clarity. Blue Calcite is notably calming and also contributes to a stable, secure, sense of inner peace. The soft ,cloud like, stone helps one find that true inner peace whatever the situation. Blue Calcite can help Peace Officers with maintaining order in volatile situations and they may carry the stone or be assisted by it with grids and or spell work. When my husband was in the Federal Police ( federal Protective Service) I often called on Blue Calcite in work to help during political Protests and crowd control situations.

i feel calcite is a easly and cheap stone to get in smaller peices the bigger may cost a bit more i have a nice 10 lb blue in my garden astro gallery on ebay is where i got it from i enjoy the slick feel of this stones and the almost pastel feeling you get when you hold them a comfortable soft energy radiates from them

it is a worth while stone to have for anyone who is working in this field of healing i think.

I love working with calcites and collect as many as I can in the various colours. I still have not managed to find black calcite but I am working on it. I like to use calcites to scatter blockages of any sort (emotional, physical, spiritual etc) and find that they are excellent at moving any stuck or stagnant energy in a very clean, efficient and gentle way. They seem to get things moving in such a way that it can be acknowledged and integrated. I particularly love working with mangano calcite and have found this to be excellent for working through trauma and moving on from these experiences. I encourage everybody I know to buy calcites in the different colours as they are readily available, affordable and very friendly to work with.
