New to crystal skulls

I have recently acquired two small crystal skulls and I really know absolutely nothing about them or how to work with them. I have worked with crystals for a while now so I was suprised to find the energy of the skulls to be very different. They feel very potent and active to me with quite distinct personalities. I would love to learn more about them and how they like to work so I would really appreciate any advice or knowledge that anybody would like to share with me. I would love to know if they connect to the ancient skulls in some way and also if they have any link to dragons. Since these two have arrived in my life, I have been having lots of dreams about dragons suddenly. For some reason I am connecting this. My two new friends are quite different to each other with one being Flourite and the other a clear quartz with black inclusions and lots of rainbows. I would love to hear from anybody who feels like sharing knowledge and I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Juanita!

You are really tuned in to your skulls already - so the best advice I can give you is to keep being with them, listening with your heart as you seem to be doing! Because one of the things the skulls are really here for (in my experience, anyway) is to help us learn to open to our own deep knowing and intuition. When we have a connection to our God-Selves or Deepest Heart or Source or whatever you want to call it, we will no longer need to look for answers outside ourselves, but rather we may revel in the mystery, magic and creative energy we were born to be a part of...when connected to inner knowing, all questions have answers, ideas manifest with grace, and we get to live life as the miracle that it is...blah blah blah....I know this sounds kind of preachy - I dont mean it that way at ALL - I only mean to say that I think you are well on your way with understanding your skulls and my guess is that answers to all your skull Q's (as well as your general life questions) will unfold for you pretty easily.

All that said, I will share a few thoughts on some of the things you ask. As always, I preface what I write with this: YOU ARE YOUR OWN AUTHORITY. Which simply means please take all I say with a grain of salt - listen with openness, but run it all thru your being and keep only what serves!

Ok. First, yes - distinct personalities for sure! Each crystal skull is as distinct a being as each human being - and the crystal world rejoyces when a human being 'gets' this! Keep being with your skulls - and you and they will continue to build very unique relationships. :-) Be sure to spend some time with each on his/her own - just like children, one on one time builds trust and depth in relationship.

As for how they like to work - well, this is a question that your intimate time with each of your skulls will reveal. There are many many ways to work with crystal, and crystal skulls - but its a bit like saying 'how does my new human friend like to work'...people can share with you the ways THEY have and do work with THEIR skulls...but I feel very strongly that the best best way to answer your question is to say: SPENT TIME WITH THEM, and ASK them. You seem to be very tuned in - try sitting quietly with each skull and simply ask what he/she would like to do in this moment. I have found that some skulls are very specific about what their 'mission' is (just as some people are) and some are less so, changing what they want to do from time to time....one place to start is to look at your self - often (but not always) the skulls that are attracted to you are some kind of reflection of or compliment to YOU - that is, your personality and theirs, or your true heart-work in the world and theirs are similar or the same. They tend, as we humans do, to gravitate towards those who are on their wavelength. Other than that, there are many, many books and so called experts out there who will have a lot of specific advice you might want to follow.

Connection to ancient skulls - ahhhh....a wonderful question! Here is my view (just mine, so dump it if it doesnt work for you!): YES. All crystal is and even more so all crystal skulls are connected to the ancient skulls. Basically, all crystal is connected. And that includes liquid-crystal - which is most of us living on earth now - it has been found that we humans have calcite crystal in our pituitary glands, not to mention that water - lakes and seas - often have various amounts of crystal in them (Im not going into this too much here or you'll be reading for days...) Anyway, my point here is that we are ALL connected in the bigger picture. And on the slightly less-big picture, yes, all crystal skulls are connected to the crystal energy grid (the Earth's aura). many of the ancient crystal skulls were created in alignment with the INTENTION of keeping Earth's energy field healthy - that is, they are (and sacred work with them is) integral to keeping Earth healthy, just like working with your own body's energy field keeps you healthy. You can actively deepen and increase your skulls connection to the crystal-skull-light-grid by intending this: Through meditation, clear intention, by placing your skulls on images of particular ancient skulls, and by having them 'visit' ancient skulls. Joining crystal skull meditations is a great way to introduce your skulls to the Big Grid. Jaap Van Etten and his wife Jeanne run a weekly meditation that you can connect to, I run a monthly one (www.crystalzaba.webs.com) which you can tune in to or attend in person, and there are more and more of these out there. BUT - you DONT NEED ANYTHING OR ANYONE to connect your skulls. They ARE connected. As are YOU. With your intuitive connection to your skulls, I am pretty sure y ou will feel this - maybe even just from reading about it here!

Dragons. I'd say YES - your skulls are very likely connected to dragons, or if they are not, they are aware of YOUR need for these amazing beings and are simply making you AWARE of them. Often skulls direct us to the things we need to be directed to. Dragons are the Passion element of each of the four main elements (earth, air, fire, water) - or so say the angelic folk I work with through crystal. Im not going to go into dragon stuff here either, as that would be another way-too-long ramble! Just want to say STAY WITH IT! I think you are a natural with you new friends.

Hi Maya

Thank you so much for your wise and beautiful words. You have so eloquently explained what I sense about these lovely beings and it encourages me greatly. I have such a strong sense of needing to work more actively with mother earth right now and perhaps this is what my new friends are here to help me do. I will definitely be looking into the groups you suggested for meditations as I think this will really help me to work with the energies in a more focused way. My quartz skull is definitely a masculine energy (or yang) and I think he is responsible for the dragon dreams and I have a strong feeling this relates also to all the upheaval now in the earth with the recent earthquakes. The flourite is quieter and shyer at this time and I think feminine (or yin) and urges me to go within. I sense that she urges me to find a still centre from which to expand outwards. Seeing as these two arrived together I think they work as a pair to provide just the right balance for me at this time. Your words have resonated with me very well and I am grateful to you for sharing this wisdom.
