ok - so I guess I can post a few of the things I have made for others as gifts.
The first is black onyx and turquoise with a black onyx pendant I found that worked well with it. I never name these things since they are gifts but it makes me think of mysterious nights.
The second is a piece that was on the bead board when I took the pics - it is a set of earrings, necklace and bracelet length with smokey quartz, rose quartz and rhodonite. I love how the smokey shone on that background. The gal wanted pink and brown - so I think I managed to accomodate that fairly well, LOL!
The third is three sets of earrings and necklaces that are (from left to right) a shell pendant that has a garnet in it with ruby zoisite, garnets and black onyx; a 'coral' pendant which is probably fossilized sponge with stones that are amethyst, onyx, rutilated quartz and red 'coral' which is probably also dyed sponge; and finally an amethyst pendant with a garnet accent with amethyst, garnet, malachite and sodalite stones - that one the pendant had sort of moved off center a bit and should be over the three garnets to the right of the placement.
I love making jewelry even though I can't wear it due to metal allergies, so I give a lot as gifts to others.
Ronda
Blessings!
I used the large amethyst drop pendant as my inspiration for this necklace. The design and construction have a "flow" to them... The gold sets off the warm and nurturing qualities of the amethyst, which is generally regarded as a possessing tonal qualities of a very cool (fairly cold) palate.

This is a beatiful piece. You should shoot it on a white or cream background to see the color of the stone. The amythest will show up better on the lighter background.
