I think it is Red Jasper - me number 4 - but it also reminds me of Red Carnelian - but I will stay with Red Jasper - :Dale (Dove)

The beads look like red jasper. The unpolished piece sure is a beauty.

I would go with red jasper, but it also looks a lot like red dolomite.
