- How long have you practiced with Crystals?
- I have had crystal companions in my life ever since I was a child but have only started using them in a healing context about two years ago.
- What healing Modality do you use? ie Reiki QT Eft? for example
- Reiki, Meridian Therapy, Crystal Therapy, Metaphysical Counselling
- What are your faverite crystal/stone/mineral ? and Why?
- I have so many favourites and I love them all. My oldest friend is an amethyst point and she has been with me a long time. She is a companion and guide in my life and helps me to sleep well and dream well. At the moment I am particulary drawn to rough Orange River clusters and I find them very upbeat, energizing, motivating and bright. I also seem to be very attracted to working with Brandberg crystals right now. They seem to help me to ground intuitive and spiritual energy into my physical reality - they are what I fondly call my practical magic crystals. To be honest I love all crystals and always find the right ones appearing in my life at the right time.
- What i Dig about life and what i feel about the journey
- I am loving the journey and particularly being here now in these times, even though it is sometimes quite a bumpy road. I love just being in whatever way that is; I love my inner child aspects and the way this part of me thinks; I love living and experiencing and learning. I love being alive and being the flawed human being that I am with so much still to learn. It is the small things in life that really float my boat and they are everywhere all the time.
- In relation to where in the world or country you are living. How has your awareness of the consciousness shift in yourself and the area you live changed throughout your lifetime and spiritual journey part of this current lifetime. Please share with the group where you live and how you perceive your countries, states general collective awareness and consciousness is.
- I live in Cape Town, South Africa. This part of the world has changed a lot in the last 15 - 20 years and many of these changes have been exceptionally positive, leading to a breakdown in many old structures. I think, however, that many of the initial positive changes in society at large in my country may have become unstuck with other issues coming to the fore again. We have many of the issues here that face large areas of Africa, such as poverty, crime, diseases and so forth. I think that at the moment many of these issues are surfacing in seemingly negative ways so that as a collective society we can work together to transform them for all people. I find Africa to be a challenging energy in terms of my spiritual growth as it can be sometimes harsh and unrelenting. This is a positive though, because it demands that I face and confront all that which I need to change in myself in order to make change in the world at large. It feels like the lesson here is about duality and polarity and the need to integrate all these varied aspects into a unified energy of togetherness, community and harmony. In terms of the earth energy here which I think affects the people, the land is powerful and resonates something ancient. Nature herself teaches us here that if we do not respect and love her, then she cannot sustain us anymore and cannot provide us with the abundance that is our true birthright as peoples and guardians of planet earth.
