- How long have you practiced with Crystals?
- I'm fairly new to them actually. I got my first one almost 20 years ago, but I didn't really start getting serious until the last two to three years.
- What healing Modality do you use? ie Reiki QT Eft? for example
- I don't, yet. :-)
- What are your faverite crystal/stone/mineral ? and Why?
- My number one favorite is amethyst -- I love purple, and at the risk of sounding silly, I just feel more calm and aware when I wear one.
Second would be mother of pearl or moonstone (tied) -- again, it probably sounds silly, but they make me feel balanced and better able to concentrate.
Third would be herkimer diamond (a form of clear quartz). I used to have a herkimer pendant (stolen from me) and I swear if I wore it to bed I'd have incredibly vivid and very memorable dreams. I'd love to find a new one I could afford -- I've missed mine every day since it was stolen! (I still wish mean things on the creep that took it.)
I also like opal, clear quartz, rose quartz, hematite and aqua aura (lab made from clear quartz) as well as goldstone (also lab made). Geez, I think I just about like crystals and gemstones, period. Must be the sparkly factor!
- What i Dig about life and what i feel about the journey
- I dig life! It's not always beautiful, it's not all sunshine and unicorns, and sometimes it's really trying ... but there's so much to DO, so much to learn, so much to discover ... I hate wasting a minute of it. If I didn't have such wonderful dreams when I slept, I'd try not to even waste time sleeping! My life's not perfect, but each day it becomes a little nicer (though sometimes it takes me a while to be able to look back and see that) and I just keep forging ahead toward the next good thing.
When things get to be too much, I rant a while and if they're really miserable I break something. And then I get over it and move on. Life's too short to hold grudges (except against the creepazoid who stole all my jewelry in 1995 -- there are three necklaces I have never been able to replace, including my herkimer! -- so that guy is on my list for the next three or four lifetimes). ;-)
- In relation to where in the world or country you are living. How has your awareness of the consciousness shift in yourself and the area you live changed throughout your lifetime and spiritual journey part of this current lifetime. Please share with the group where you live and how you perceive your countries, states general collective awareness and consciousness is.

Angsting over groups
So, I was pondering the ridiculous number of Ning sites I belong to these days (21!) and trying to decide if I really wanted to have this many pages to keep up with. First step was to consider each of them -- what do I get from it, how often do I really read it, do I participate in the discussions, do I feel like anyone there cares what I have to say (and conversely, do I care what the others there have to say), and so on.
