One – Two – Three – FLIP IT !!

One of the best things about wisdom is the wide range of ways it makes itself known – the varied presentation. When we run into reminders of what is true, we also find instances where the same message is shown to us in other ways too.

THE LIGHT OF THE MANIFEST UNIVERSE SURROUNDS ALL THAT IT TOUCHES.

Think of a room where a light is shining. Then remember how that light “glints” off the surface of all the things in the room that can reflect it, you know?

It doesn’t matter that the light is bouncing off the surface of things as different as chalk and cheese. It is only important that each unique thing has its own capacity to reflect that light back out.

True, the light was provided by something else; but each particular object now reflects the light it received back out into the world. Now each spark of original light has a new identity.

The room where the light shines is aglow because of twinkling surfaces of objects in it: surfaces in the room, flooring there, even a glimmer in a long dried up puddle of something sugary wasted on the floor… like tea? soda? juice?… (In THAT particular case, there is even light donated by a mishap…)

Then I wonder, “are there any such things as ‘mishaps’ or ‘coincidences’ or ‘accidents’ ? ? ? I don’t believe there are.

Two important kinds of knowledge come from Crystals and Stones… This particular kind of knowledge, from crystals, is increasingly important to us on earth because we learn new things about how crystals work and what they can do almost daily.

I run into people who say “Oh, I don’t believe in that junk…” when they learn that I am working with crystals and stones. I don’t get upset, I just remind myself that we are not all here to learn the same thing, explore the same terrain, or be blessed by the same wisdom.

But then I have to giggle a bit when I see them go off to sit in front of a PC… hmmm … I do wonder if they realize what a computer “chip” is… Crystal vibrations were discovered to be so dependable that they were used to run watches, calibrate scientific measuring devices, and to store information on computers, as chips! It is only once man learned to grow crystals himself that we began to use crystals other than the ones found in nature to slice into tiny pieces to run our beloved computers…

Three of my favorite things are Astrology, Tarot, and Numerology; and they are actually all one study. Study one of the three subjects (beyond “coffee table” or newspaper and pop sources). Follow any one of the three long enough and you soon run right into the study of the other two.

As I began to think about this blog today, I read the astrological analysis of an angle that was significant for me today – Venus Square Pluto. I read it and had to laugh. Three big bug-a-boos all locked into a dance together.

Venus – more than the planet of Love, it is also the planet of great excess when it’s expressed in a negative way.
Square – an angle of conflict and stress between two planets.
Pluto – the planet of Transformation, and Coercion (its the ruler of Hades!)

So, that can mean “excesses lead to conflicts that bring forced changes.”

Uh - Oh! HOW can I find a positive way to use the same energy for a positive outcome?

After meditation on the matter I felt grateful to the universe that everything has BOTH a positive and a negative application.

Grateful that all energy can be seen in more than one way. . .

Grateful that I could look for how this lesson could have something to teach – even if it used an
uncomfortable or unpleasant experience as its vehicle into my life; I would still learn from
it, still find some karmic truth embedded there that would enhance my wisdom. . .

The first thing would be to be centered -- then to look beyond the negative things this configuration could bring, and remind myself that

A) Positive Venus was a source of loving kindness, creativity and connectedness.
B) A Square’s conflict was just the negative side, its positive application was as a mass of energy
straining to express, it needed enlightened conscious guidance to turn it into a positive channel .
C) Pluto transformed stale situations into dynamic opportunities when the situation had been
immovable before (or had proven too difficult).

I would have to look at the positive side. In order to do that I needed to take that negative manifestation and:

FLIP IT !!

Now those same positions COULD indicate:

“social or creative connections that energize long overdue changes and clear stagnation”

That is a great “flip side” and I can work with THAT !! You just have to look on the bright side… I began to look through a book of crystals and what each could influence… Cool !!

Now I had a whole new perspective. Just this very day, an unexpected situation had come up. A friend was moving to a new continent. They called to ask if I wanted to purchase their HUGE Apache Tear Crystal Ball… I had admired it for several years. . .

What a wonderful reward for seeing the bright side!
