Witch Tools~Wand or Magic Wand

A WAND IS:

One of the working tools of a Witch. For many Witches, this is a preferred alternate to the athame' as the personal tool especially for the solitary Witch.
The size, shape and substance of the wand are not strict. First, the wood may be of any type but ideally it should be cut from a tree or gather by the Witch who intend to use it.
There are varius way to get the wand: 1) cutting it from a dead tree or branch 2) if cutting from a living tree, permission should be asked from the tree 3) the wand must be 21 inches long or the equivalent to the distance bet. your elbow and the tip of your middle finger {according to varius ceremonial Grimoires} Again it should be whatever feels right to you.
3) Put some of your energy into it. Whether carving,staining, painting, writing, or decorating it.
The wand represent the male phalus and some of them had the end shape of the male penis.
Most Witches prefer a pinecome or even a crystal or a stone.
Another way to obtain a wand is by buying one from a new age store. {Again, whatever is easier or feels the best to you}
You can also have different sizes wands as long as you are a solitary Witch and it feels right to you.

The above picture shows 3 of my wands. 2 of them I bought and 2 of them I made but the longer one is not shown in this photo. All of them have a clear quartz crystal at the end.
